Baseball: Reggie Smith Jr. is dismissed at Granada Hills
Before even coaching in his first varsity baseball game for Granada Hills, Reggie Smith Jr. said Wednesday he was fired as head coach “because I used colorful language in a closed door meeting” with players.
Smith said a player recorded his talk.
Smith was hired to replace Steve Thompson, who resigned.
