Baseball: Sophomore outfielder Matthew Acosta commits to USC
USC has picked up a commitment from sophomore center fielder Matthew Acosta of Chino Hills Ayala.
Acosta played on the Chino Hills freshman team last season, then transferred to Ayala. He has been hitting over .500 this fall for Ayala and should be the starting center fielder after sitting out the first month of the season.
He’s also a left-handed pitcher.
