Basketball: Ayanna Clark, Kianna Smith make McDonald’s All-American Game
Ayanna Clark from Long Beach Poly and Kianna Smith from Troy have been selected to play in the girls’ portion of the McDonald’s All-American Game on March 29 at the United Center in Chicago. Clark is headed to USC and Smith to California.
There were no Southern California selections for the boys’ game.
The closest was UCLA recruit Jaylen Hands from Foothills Christian in San Diego and Brandon McCoy from San Diego Cathedral. Hands will join another UCLA recruit, Kris Wilkes from Indiana.
USC-bound Charles O’Bannon of Bishop Gorman was selected.
