Boys’ basketball: Loyola’s Jamal Adams turns down college offer
Loyola Coach Jamal Adams said he was offered an assistant coach’s position at Columbia, his alma mater, but has decided to stay with the Cubs. He has a son, Jerod, who will be a senior at Loyola.

Adams just completed his ninth season as head coach at Loyola.
