Boys’ basketball: Redondo is preparing for another state title run
There was a big surprise last basketball season when Redondo won the state Division II championship under first-year Coach Reggie Morris Jr. There won’t be any surprises this season, because the Sea Hawks are loaded with talent and experience.
Point guard Ian Fox, the Southern Section 2A player of the year, is back to direct the team. Leland Green, a 6-foot-3 sophomore guard who made major summer improvement, is ready to take on a scoring role. And Mr. Dunk, Jeremiah Headley, a 6-7 junior, should be better than ever.
Redondo has also added 6-8, 270-pound Terrell Carter, a transfer from West Torrance. And 6-1 freshman Ryse Williams should be a contributor by season’s end.
