Boys’ basketball: The Century League rules!
Let’s hear it for the Orange County-based Century League.
Anaheim Canyon, Brea, Santa Ana Foothill and Villa Park have all reached the basketball semifinals or final in their respective divisions.
Villa Park eliminated No. 2 Alemany in the Division 1A quarterfinals.
Anaheim Canyon advanced to the 2AA semifinals, where it will have to get past Canyon Country Canyon in a game that will decide whether the Comanches or the Cowboys are the best Canyon. Foothill is in the other semifinal against Westlake.
Brea reached the 3AA championship game against Santa Margarita.
