City Section cancels all athletic events on LAUSD campuses

After the closure of all Los Angeles Unified School District campuses on Tuesday because of a “credible threat” of violence, the City Section announced that all athletic events scheduled on LAUSD campuses have been canceled for today and will be rescheduled.

If a City Section school has a game scheduled at a Southern Section school, the event may go on, but LAUSD will not be providing buses for transportation, according to a City Section news release.

City Section football champion Narbonne has made arrangements to practice this afternoon at Gardena Serra. It has a bowl game scheduled for Saturday in Sacramento.
