Cross country: Phillip Rocha of Arcadia is named Gatorade state runner of the year
Phillip Rocha from Arcadia High has been honored as the Gatorade cross country runner of the year in California.
He’s the third runner from Arcadia to receive the honor.
Rocha won the Division I state championship with a time of 14:42.9 and was second at the national Foot Locker Cross Country Championships.
