Football: Calabasas to honor firefighters, participate in childhood cancer awareness month
The Calabasas football program is using its first two games to honor and bring awareness to two causes.
On Sept. 2 at home against Salesian, the city of Calabasas and the high school will dedicate the game to firefighters and police who fought the brush fire in Calabasas last June. There will be a halftime presentation.
On Friday in a game against host Agoura, both schools will kick off childhood cancer awareness month by decorating the field in yellow and having a halftime presentation.
