Football: Elijah Asante returns to Carson on Friday
Former Carson Coach Elijah Asante returns to the school on Friday when Santa Margarita faces the Colts in a nonleague game.
Asante, now an assistant coach with Santa Margarita, was the head coach at Carson for two years. Carson’s new coach, Kevin McCall, served as an assistant under Asante.
Carson (0-2) has struggled in losses to Fresno Edison and Mater Dei. The Colts are having trouble up front. They gained just 26 total yards and had two first downs against Mater Dei.
