Football: It’s test time for Taft in West Valley League showdown
There are little signs that Taft might have turned the corner and could be a West Valley League title contender, but the Toreadors (3-3) should find out a certain answer on Friday night when they face Chatsworth (5-1).
The big questions include can Taft avoid turnovers and can the Toreadors slow down Chatsworth’s rushing attack?
Linebacker Anfernee Aguado has 51 tackles for the Toreadors.
Quarterback Chris Duncan leads the offense with 1,102 yards passing and 11 touchdowns. He also has seven interceptions, and that will be important to stay away from mistakes.
Taft has beaten Fairfax and Granada Hills in its last two games. If the Toreadors can keep improving, an upset is possible on Friday at Chatsworth.
