Football: Oak Park trio continues to roll up impressive numbers
In the history of Oak Park football, there’s never been an offensive trio quite like this year’s group of quarterback Chandler Whitbord, running back Brandon Coppel and receiver Matt Byer.
The Eagles (11-1) are in the Northwest Division semifinals, and the trio continue to roll up offensive statistics that are mindboggling.
Whitbord has passed for 2,796 yards and 39 touchdowns and rushed for 1,041 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Byer has caught 86 passes for 1,635 yards and 28 touchdowns.
Coppel has rushed for 1,328 yards and nine touchdowns.
