Football: State career record for field goals is within reach for Kevin Robledo
Kevin Robledo of Westlake has 37 career field goals, putting him within two of tying the state record held by Jake Van Ginkel of Upland, which was set in 2010, according to CalHiSports.com.
Robledo has been booming field goals since his sophomore season. Coach Jim Benkert has given him many opportunities, and he has responded.
He’s already been selected as the kicker for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
