Volleyball: Huntington Beach wins Division 1 championship
Huntington Beach is the best volleyball team in Southern California, if not the nation. The Oilers improved to 37-0 and won the Southern Section Division 1 championship with a 25-17, 20-25, 25-17, 25-10 win over Loyola on Saturday night at Cerritos College.
T.J. DeFalco had 21 kills and Drake Evans added 11 kills. Josh Tuaniga contributed 48 assists.
Matthew Reilly and Hayden Boehle had nine kills apiece for Loyola.
