UPDATE: Duke won the South Regional over Gonzaga in Houston, while Michigan State won the East Regional over Louisville in Syracuse, N.Y. Duke defeated Michigan State, 81-71, on Nov. 18, at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Duke has a three-freshmen lineup led by Jahlil Okafor, who averages 17.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. Duke is the only team in the nation with three freshmen — Okafor, Justise Winslow and Tyus Jones — averaging double figures. Senior guard Quinn Cook is averaging a career-high 15.5 points per game. Michigan State got to the Final Four by holding four tournament opponents to 34% shooting. Senior guard Travis Trice has stepped up of late, averaging 18.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in his last 15 games. Duke (2010) and Michigan State (2000) both won their last NCAA titles in Indianapolis. Coaches Mike Krzyzewski and Tom Izzo have combined for 19 Final Four appearances.
