Update: Since Bobcats owner Michael Jordan named Paul Silas to replace Larry Brown as head coach Dec. 22, the team has revived. Charlotte had a 10-6 record under Silas entering Friday’s game and is in the chase for a playoff spot in the East. Bobcats center Kwame Brown, a former Laker, has had four double-doubles this month; guard Stephen Jackson leads the team in scoring with 18 points a game.
