Spring training: Dodgers split squad falls to Padres, 7-5

AT THE PLATE: Hanley Ramirez had two hits and stole two bases, including home on the back end of a double steal. He also drove in his fourth run of the spring, giving him a share of the team lead. The Ellises — second baseman Mark and catcher A.J. (no relation) combined to go two for three with a single, double, walk, two runs scored and two runs batted in.
ON THE MOUND: Starter Zack Greinke gave up two runs, five hits and a walk in three innings in which he was bailed out twice on double plays. Former 2010 top-round pick Zach Lee gave up two runs and three hits and balked in the go-ahead run in the ninth.
EXTRA BASES: Bullpen candidate Kevin Gregg, a nonroster invitee to camp, had his second perfect outing of the spring, retiring the side on two foul pops and a grounder in his only inning. Minor leaguer C.J. Retherford homered in the seventh.
