Washington State AD Bill Moos has a long memory
Washington State athletic director Bill Moos has a list, he’s checking it twice, but it has nothing to do with Christmas.
According a story in The Olympian, Moos has kept a list of nasty emails he’s now using in the allocation of bowl tickets.
It’s like the Seinfeld episode “No soup for you!”
Washington State is 6-5 under second-year Coach Mike Leach and bowl eligible for the first time since 2003.
Moos kept emails that were derogatory of his hiring of Leach, who went 3-9 in his first season and was embroiled a controversy over his treatment of players.
“I’ve got a no-bowl ticket file,” Moos said, “and I want people on board and believing in what we’re doing, and trusting how we’re going about it. If they don’t want to be on the train, the train’s already pulled out of the station.”
