Magic Johnson and Steve Nash join Chris Paul in a new NBA commercial, “Unbelievable is BIG.”
In the commercial, Johnson is sitting a restaurant watching a Clippers-Memphis Grizzlies game on television. Paul is dribbling against Mike Conley, disappearing into puffs of smoke and reappearing to the confusion of the Memphis defenders.
It’s revealed that Johnson is sitting alongside Nash, who is eating French fries. Paul transports to join them, grabbing a fry before snapping back into the game to score a layup.
The video is advertising the NBA but is certainly Clipper-centric. Of course, the Clippers have the best record in the league while the Lakers are battling through injuries and poor play.
The Clippers have won 77.1% of their games (27-8); the Lakers are under .500 at 15-19 (44.1%).
Johnson even went as far as to say on a recent ESPN broadcast: “The Clippers? That’s Showtime”
