Andrew Goudelock on Chicago Bulls’ summer league roster

The odds of free-agent guard Andrew Goudelock returning to the Lakers next season appear to be slim.

The 6-foot-3 guard will be playing for the Chicago Bulls summer league team in Las Vegas, according to a release from the team.

Goudelock, who joined the Lakers for their final two regular-season games after Kobe Bryant suffered an Achilles’ tear on April 12, ended up starting games at shooting guard against the San Antonio Spurs through first round of the playoffs.

The Lakers declined the opportunity to give Goudelock a qualifying offer, allowing the player they chose with the 46th pick in the 2011 NBA draft to become an unrestricted free agent.

Goudelock played 40 games for the Lakers through the 2011-12 season, averaging 4.4 points a game on 39.1% shooting. After spending most of the next year in the D-League, Goudelock played just one regular-season game for the Lakers after Bryant’s injury.

After Jodie Meeks and Steve Blake went down with injuries against the Spurs in the playoffs, Goudelock started the final two games, scoring 20 and 14 points as the Lakers went down in a sweep.

The Lakers have yet to announce their summer league roster for Las Vegas.
