Kobe Bryant makes a cameo in Nike Greater China video
Kobe Bryant makes a cameo in a new Nike Greater China basketball campaign.
The clip entitled “Wish List’ is part of Nike’s “Give Me the Ball” campaign, encouraging players to “dream big, speak up, take charge and make their own mark with just a basketball in their hands.”
Along with Bryant, Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant and former NBA player Yi Jianlian appear as well.
“Playing basketball was my dream and passion as a kid. The ball symbolized an opportunity, a chance to work hard and see what was possible,” Bryant said to NikeInc.com. “Every aspiring player should feel that possibility when the ball is in their hands.”
The clip also features “Chinese rising star” Wang Zhelin.
Stacy Wall, “whose work includes previous Nike campaigns L’il Penny, The LeBrons, MVPuppets and LeBron Rise,” directed the spot for Nike Greater China which will air in Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
