Kobe Bryant able to dunk, at least in ‘NBA 2K14’ preview
Kobe Bryant has the explosion back in his legs — at least digitally.
On Thursday, Visual Concepts released a trailer for its upcoming video game “NBA 2K14.”
The strikingly realistic graphics show Bryant throwing down a one-handed slam-dunk over Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose.
Bryant is currently working his way back from April surgery after tearing his Achilles’ tendon. It’s unclear when the Lakers guard will be ready to hit the court — opening night against the Clippers on Oct. 29 appears to be a longshot.
The Lakers host the Bulls on Feb. 9. Bryant should be back by then, but will he have the same ability to leap as depicted in the trailer?
That’s a question nearly everyone would like answered — including Kobe Bryant.
