Andrew Goudelock says he had migraine during Lakers’ loss to Spurs
Playing time remains rare for rookie guard Andrew Goudelock.
When Lakers Coach Mike Brown cleared his bench in the final 3:40 of the Lakers’ 111-92 loss Tuesday to the San Antonio Spurs, Goudelock kept his seat. Afterward, Goudelock explained he suffered a migraine in the hours leading to the game.
“I felt terrible,” Goudelock said. “During the game, it was bad.”
He said he took some medication and lay down in the trainer’s room with the lights off in hopes of alleviating the migraine symptoms.
Goudelock’s health probably won’t be a major factor in how Brown allocates playing time. Brown has kept him out of the rotation in the past month because of his defensive deficiencies and his hope that a tightened rotation will better prepare his team for the playoffs. But Goudelock says he won’t be able to use health as an excuse if he doesn’t play Wednesday at Golden State.
Said Goudelock: “I feel a lot better.”
