Derek Fisher hasn’t reported to the Rockets yet

--ESPN Los Angeles’ Arash Markazi reports the Lakers and Rockets mutually agreed to extend the deadline for Derek Fisher to report to Houston and get his physical to 72 hours. Fisher wasn’t with the team during the Rockets-Clippers game on Saturday.

When he couldn’t make up his mind what he wanted to do and when he wouldn’t consider signing an extension to stay with the Lakers, then it was better for him to stay where he was at. He was not worth giving up Paul Gasol and Andrew Bynum. The Lakers made the right trades and not only got a great point guard in Ramon Session, but also got two other pieces that could help them.
