Lakers sign Manny Harris to second 10-day contract
The Lakers have signed guard Manny Harris to a second 10-day contract, the team announced Sunday.
Harris was recently called up from the NBA Development League, where he played for the Lakers’ affiliate (D-Fenders).
Through five games with the Lakers, Harris has averaged 6.4 points and 3.6 rebounds, playing a robust 20.9 minutes a night.
Harris will earn $52,017 through the contract, making his total earnings at $104,034 for 20 days with the Lakers.
Once his second deal is up, the Lakers will have to either let him go as a free agent or sign him for the remainder of the season.
The Lakers finish their seven-game trip Sunday, visiting Madison Square Garden to play the New York Knicks.
