Former Lakers forward Shawne Williams on Monday was named NBA Development League performer of the week.

Playing for the Lakers’ D-League affiliate, Williams is the third D-Fender to win the honor this season, joining Manny Harris, who also played with the Lakers this season, and Terrence Williams.

At 25-15, the D-Fenders are in first place in the West Division, having a better season than the 22-44 Lakers.
