Guard Stephen Curry and Coach Steve Kerr of the Golden State Warriors were fined $25,000 each by the NBA on Friday for separate incidents stemming from Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night.

Curry, Golden State’s two-time MVP, was fined $25,000 for throwing his mouthpiece into the stands, which subsequently hit a fan.

Curry was given a technical foul with four minutes and 22 seconds left and ejected from the Warriors’ 115-101 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena. He was upset about being called for his sixth foul.

Kerr was given his $25,000 fine for criticizing the officials during his post-game press conference. He had voiced his displeasure with all the fouls called on Curry.

The Warriors and Cavaliers will play a winner-take-all championship Game 7 on Sunday night at Oracle Arena in Oakland.
