The Clippers are going to face one of the bigger teams in the NBA when they face the Detroit Pistons on Sunday at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

The Pistons start 6-foot-9 Josh Smith at small forward, 6-foot-11 Greg Monroe at power forward and 6-foot-11 Andre Drummond at center.

On the other hand, the Clippers were going to start 6-foot-7 Jared Dudley at small forward, 6-foot-10 Blake Griffin at power forward and 6-foot-11 DeAndre Jordan at center.

Basically, the Clippers were just going to have to deal with all that size Detroit has.

“It’s a concern, but we’re not going to grow,” Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said before the game. “I can guarantee that.

“They are going to be bigger than us before the game, during the game and after the game. So it’s going to have to be a team effort. They are a big basketball team.”

The Clippers also faced a big team when they played the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night.

The Pacers start 6-foot-9 Paul George at small forward, 6-foot-10 David West at power forward and 7-foot-1 Roy Hibbert at center.
