NHL urges fans to buy parking passes online for Dodger Stadium game
Prepare to dig deep into your wallets to pay for parking at Saturday’s Stadium Series outdoor game between the Kings and the Ducks at Dodger Stadium.
Parking prices — set by the NHL, not by the participating teams — are
steep. Passes, which can be pre-purchased online at www.nhlstadiumseriesparking.com,
cost $50 and $35 for premium parking locations and $20 for general parking.
The parking gates are scheduled to open at 3:30 p.m. The league
is asking fans to buy parking passes in advance to help keep traffic moving.
Here’s a link to the league’s press release, which also contains information on bus service from Union Station to Dodger Stadium.
Preparation of the rink for Saturday’s game is continuing. Here’s a link to some photographs of the process, and a link to time-lapse video of the buildout.
Yankee Stadium is undergoing a similar process for outdoor games there Jan. 26 between the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils and on Jan. 29 between the Rangers and New York Islanders. Here are photos and video of that.
