Watch Patrick Roy go crazy at end of Ducks-Avalanche game
Wow, if new Colorado Avalanche Coach Patrick Roy gets this fired up this early in the season, imagine what he will be like in the playoffs.
Roy shoved at the glass partition separating the Avalanche bench from the Ducks bench as he and Ducks Coach Bruce Boudreau pointed fingers and yelled at each other at the end of Wednesday night’s 6-1 victory by Colorado.
Roy was angry over a knee-to-knee hit between Ducks defenseman Ben Lovejoy and Colorado forward Nathan MacKinnon.
“I don’t think this league needs that type of cheap shot,” Roy said. “That was a knee-to-knee hit, and should have been a penalty in my opinion. When it’s 6-0, this game doesn’t need that kind of cheap shot.”
“A coach has no right to start yapping at players,” Boudreau said.
