Rockets are favorites to sign Dwight Howard, according to oddsmakers

The Houston Rockets are the favorites to sign Dwight Howard, according to Odds Shark.

The sports odds provider has listed the Rockets at +140, meaning a bet of $100 would win $140.

The Lakers were given the second-best odds at +180 and the Dallas Mavericks were listed third at +300.

Howard, a seven-time All-Star center, has been holed up in Aspen, Colo., as he decides whether he wants to return to the Lakers or bolt.

This past week, he met with the Lakers, Hawks, Mavericks, Rockets and Warriors.

Howard has until Wednesday before he can officially sign with a team, but he’s expected to announce his decision at least a few days before that date.
