Watch Tom Brady abruptly end his news conference after loss to Miami

New England quarterback Tom Brady didn’t have much to say after the Patriots’ 24-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Brady uttered a mere 74 words during his post-game news conference, which lasted less than a minute.

But before abruptly, yet politely, ending the session after just two questions, Brady still managed to get an expletive in there -- one that probably most Patriots fans would agree described the team’s play at the end of the game.

“We make some good plays, and then we make plenty of ... plays,” Brady said, using an expletive. “Thank you.”

Brady had led the Patriots to comeback wins in each of the previous three weeks and looked to be doing the same against the Dolphins by driving the team into the red zone with 27 seconds left in the game.

But Brady uncharacteristically threw four straight incompletions (one was nullified by a defensive penalty) before getting picked off in the end zone by Miami’s Michael Thomas to seal the result.

Brady completed 34 of 55 passes for 364 yards with two touchdowns and the interceptions.

A victory would have sealed the AFC East title for the Patriots and put them in good position for the top playoff seed in the conference.
