An opportunity to buy Kenneth Wingard’s mobiles and other designs
Kenneth Wingard has designed and manufactured stylish, affordably priced home accessories for more than a decade. Now he’s added “retailer” to his résumé with a showroom on décor-centric West 3rd Street in Los Angeles. Shoppers will see his signature mobiles -- mod and neo-Baroque dangling artworks he calls Mo-Bi-Le-O’s -- as well as George Nelson-inspired metal and wood sunburst clocks ($70 and $120). The store’s new line of ceramics includes the Modigliani-esque Totem busts ($79 and $89), the shoulder-shaped Bud vase ($29) and the textured Cobble pillar candleholders ($28 and $38) that can double as vases. 8207A W. 3rd St.; (323) 651-5500; www.kennethwingard.com.
