Buena Park wants you to come visit this month. The home of Knott’s Berry Farm, a trampoline park and pirate dinner adventure is luring families who need some post-holiday fun with discounts in January at kid-friendly places.

The deal: Kids Takeover Buena Park is the overarching name of the offer. Each attraction has its own discount and own coupon to print out. Here are some of the deals.

--Get into Knott’s Berry Farm for $40 for adults and $35 for children (a good-anytime single-day ticket usually costs $72).

--The Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament at 7662 Beach Blvd. in Buena Park is discounted to $39.95 for adults (usually $61.95) and $29.95 (usually $36.95) for children during the four-course feast with a knightly theme.

--Big Air Trampoline at 8308 On the Mall in Buena Park offers a free hour of kiddie jump time.

--One child enters free with an adult admission at Pirate’s Dinner Adventure at 7600 Beach Blvd. in Buena Park.

When: Coupons are good through Jan. 31.

Details: There are some food goodies and hotel deals in January too.

You can get 20% off Cold Stone Creamery purchases at the 8300 La Palma Ave. location (brrr!) and a 99-cent meal for kids with an adult entree purchase at Fuddruckers at 7802 Orangethorpe Ave., both in Buena Park.
