Need a little Pixie pampering? Ojai hotels add a tangerine twist
It’s Pixie time! And in California’s Ojai Valley, that’s reason for hotels, spas and restaurants to go a little tangerine crazy.
Ojai is home to the Pixie tangerines that are hitting store shelves and farmers markets right now. The town celebrates Pixie Tangerine Month in April, and you can expect to start seeing offers for things such as Pixie facials, Pixie cocktails and Pixie everything.
The Ojai Valley Inn & Spa is including a 50-minute Pixie body scrub each night and two Pixie cocktails as part of a hotel package with breakfast (starting at $518 a night midweek). Look for bright orange golf balls as its course gets into the Pixie spirit too. The offer is good April 1 to May 30.
The inn will also have a “Pix-ology” cocktail class every Friday in April from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. ($25 each).
The all-inclusive Oaks at Ojai features a five-night Pixie Lodging Package starting at $1,700 per person for a single private room and $1,250 per person for a double.
It includes Pixie pedicures, cooking demonstrations and unlimited Pixies at the front desk. It’s good from April 1-30. Ask about Pixie popsicles and the dark-chocolate bar with tangerine essence too.
At Su Nido Inn and Casa Ojai Inn, take 25% off your room rate April 1-30 when you use the promotion code “Pixie.” Room prices start at $97 a night Sundays through Thursdays at Su Nido and $134 a night Fridays and Saturdays.
