Readers recommend: Hume Hotel in Nelson, Canada is not much to look at, until you step inside
We recently drove the International Selkirk Loop into British Columbia, Canada. We traveled until we were tired and ended up in Nelson at the Hume Hotel. Although its exterior is unremarkable, it has a supremely renovated 1898 interior. Great service, ambience and bar too.
