Tanzania tour visits three national parks on a wildlife safari

Experience East Africa’s wildlife on a 10-day safari that includes three of Tanzania’s 16 national parks.

The itinerary includes two days of game drives in Serengeti National Park, home to the annual migration of wildebeests and zebras.

Next is Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, baboons and bird life. Also on the itinerary is lesser-known Tarangire National Park, popular with bird-watchers.

Other highlights include day trips to view wildlife in Ngorongoro Crater and to visit the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes at Lake Eyasi.

Optional post-trip extension to Zanzibar.

Dates: July 23-Aug. 1

Price: $7,295 per person, double occupancy; single supplement available. Includes nine nights’ accommodations, most meals, transportation, sightseeing, admission and park entry fees, and domestic flights. International airfare not included.
