Give your regards to Broadway on a New York theater tour
Theatre buffs looking for a boffo way to start the new year will be interested in Ron Scarlata’s annual Broadway tour. Scarlata is a theater professor at El Camino College in Torrance.
The six-night tour includes orchestra tickets to three Broadway shows: the innovative new musical “Hamilton,” Tony Award nominee “April in Paris” and “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,” 2015’s Tony Award-winning play.
Also included are post-performance seminars with actors and directors, tours of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the 9/11 Museum, and a boat cruise of lower Manhattan.
Dates: Jan. 5-11
Price: $2,295 per person, double occupancy; three to a room, $2,095; single room, $2,955. Includes airfare from LAX, accommodations at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, welcome breakfast and farewell dinner and tour guides.
