Squaw Valley ski deal: ‘3-Pack’ takes $25 off daily lift ticket
Skeptics say that skiing is like standing in a cold shower and tearing up $100 bills. Well, California’s Squaw Valley USA has found a way to warm your wallet with a new three-day pass. The deal comes as Lake Tahoe is enjoying epic snowfalls.
The deal: The resort’s three-visit pass shaves $25 off of a daily adult lift ticket, allowing skiers and riders to hit the slopes for $63 a day. The days do not need to be consecutive. Dubbed the Legend 3-Pack, the pass is reloadable in increments of three throughout the season for the same rate, but the original purchase must be made on or before March 11.
When: Good any three days from Feb. 26 through the end of the ski season. But you must buy the pass by March 11.
Tested: The passes were easily obtainable on the Squaw Valley website. Note that the package works like a season pass, which means a photo will be taken at pick-up, and the passes cannot be shared.
The $189 passes are available online or at any ticket window. Youth prices (ages 13 to 18) are $129, which cuts $19 off the regular daily price.
Contact: Squaw Valley USA, (800) 403-0206.
