Web Buzz: Teentraveltalk.com features younger set’s trip adventures
Who says travel tips have to come from adults? Teentraveltalk.com lets teens with wanderlust write about their family vacations.
Name: Teentraveltalk.com
What it does: Lets teens blog about their travel experiences, from summer vacations at American theme parks to building houses in Cambodia. There are more than 450 articles that span destinations around the globe.
What’s hot: There is no shortage of destinations. Find teen reviews of hotels, accounts of visiting a pig ranch in France and trying churrascaria in São Paulo, Brazil. Look at the bottom of the “Favorites” section and you can find a few videos, such as the one from Kathryn that shows her climbing Mt. Kinabalu in Malaysia.
What’s not: I couldn’t find bios for the teen writers. They are credited with only their first name, which is great for online safety. I’d love to know more about them, such as what region they’re from and how long they’ve been traveling.
