Your Scene: A sacred ritual in India
Sarah Miller traveled to Varanasi in northeast India in December 2010 as part of a yearlong backpacking trip through Asia. Early one morning, she trekked to the Ganges River to take a boat ride. She was captivated by the sight of these men, who were preparing to bathe in the river, which is sacred to the Hindus.
The Silver Lake resident used a Canon EOS Digital Rebel to capture the image.
