Utah: Lift tickets come with the room at Sundance ski resort
Skiers and snowboarders receive an all-in-one price when reserving a room at Sundance Resort this winter and spring. The ski resort southeast of Salt Lake City includes lift tickets with your room for each night you stay.
The deal: Stay at Sundance and Ski Free features two lift tickets for skiing or snowboarding at the resort. For the uninitiated, Sundance is small and out-of-the-way, but that’s all part of the charm. Mt. Timpanogos, at 11,749 feet, is the star of the slopes and the second-highest peak in the Wasatch Range. Robert Redford bought the small resort and surrounding acreage in 1969.
When: The offer is good through April 6, depending on availability. Blackout dates are Jan. 17-27 during the Sundance Film Festival.
Tested: I called to check availability and found a standard room for $339 a night from Feb. 1-3 and $319 a night Feb. 13-15. (Prices don’t include tax.) Lift tickets for two adults (non-holiday rate) usually cost $108 a day.
