Starwood Hotels offers prix-fixe meals at 75 restaurants
Starwood Hotels and Resorts rolled out a discount this month that features prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus at restaurants including J&G; Steakhouse at the W Washington, D.C., and Kelvin at the W San Diego. The deal is good for three-course meals at 75 restaurants around the country for members of the hotel group’s loyalty program, which is free to join.
The deal: Show a Starwood Preferred Guest card (or proof of membership on a smartphone) and have lunch for $20.13 and dinner for $30.13 at selected restaurants. Members also receive up to 30% off the total bill. The website lists participating restaurants; some have posted their prix-fixe menus online.
When: The offer is good through Feb. 10.
Tested: Tequila-candied halibut, pan-cooked chicken or grilled pork chop are the main dish choices for the dinner at Kelvin. On the regular menu, starters cost $9 to $18, and the halibut costs $26, making the $30.13 prix-fixe meal a no-brainer. The promotion provides a good excuse to sample a new restaurant or two too.
