Amsterdam and Paris: Go sightseeing with your personal life coach
Bas Brummans believes in taking an “inner and outer journey” when you travel. The life coach and professional photographer based in Amsterdam offers small group tours — two to three people — for eight days in the Dutch city, Paris and France’s Loire Valley.
The idea is to use the personal coaching sessions to develop a life path during stops on the tour, i.e., visiting spiritual places in Utrecht, Delft or Den Haag in the Netherlands or sampling wines at Chinon in the Loire Valley. Brummans says via email that “travel is a powerful catalyst for new awareness.” You may hone your photo skills too in sessions devoted to taking better pictures.
The tour begins in Amsterdam with city walks and museum visits before driving to the Loire Valley and visiting Saumur, where military horses are trained, and stopping at castles in and around Chinon, Amboise, Chenonceau and Chambord. From there, it’s on to Paris for museum visits and sightseeing while allowing time for self-reflection and journaling. The trip ends with a train journey back to Amsterdam.
When: Dates are customized with Saturday departures from Amsterdam.
Price: $5,000 a person for solo travelers, $4,000 per person for two travelers. It includes airport transfers, ground transportation, hotels, life coaching, photography instruction, wine tastings and other tour stops. Meals and airfare to and from Amsterdam are extra.
