New York: Theater professor leads the way on this Broadway tour

Take a deeper look at Broadway’s theater scene during a winter tour that includes tickets to Tony Award winners “Kinky Boots” and the revival of “Pippin” as well as after-show meet-ups with actors and directors. El Camino College New York City Theatre Tour in early January accents live performances as well as sightseeing in the Big Apple.

“This tour is a wonderful opportunity to spend the post-holiday season with a group of culturally minded travelers to enjoy one of the world’s most exciting cities,” Ronald Scarlata, theater professor and tour leader, says in a statement. Participants stay close to Broadway at the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan and tour the High Line and Central parks, Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center, museums and more.

When: The trip is Jan. 3-9.

Price: $2,260 per person, double occupancy; $2,887 per person for single travelers. It includes round-trip airfare, airport transfers, hotel, three shows, tour guides, subway pass, boat cruise and other sightseeing stops. Most meals are extra.
