Steve Angello kicks off a five-night deejay residency at Omnia Nightclub
Reporting from Las Vegas — Swedish producer Steve Angello jumps from SLS Las Vegas nightclubs over to the new Omnia Nightclub, where he’ll get behind the decks for five nights in August and September.
The Grammy-nominated deejay, who makes up one-third of Swedish House Mafia, kicks off his new residency on Tuesday, Aug. 4, in the main club.
Angello announced a two-year residency at the nightclubs at SLS Las Vegas last October.
His latest track, “Children of the Wild,” originally came out in 2013, but Angello only recently decided to release the dance anthem officially. His new LP comes out later this summer and marks a darker and more melancholy sound, he tells Rolling Stone.
Angello’s career started in 2001 and he marked his first hit in 2005.
His upcoming dates at the Caesars Palace nightclub include Tuesday, Aug. 4, Sunday, Aug. 16, Friday, Aug. 21, Tuesday, Aug. 25, and Saturday, Sept. 12.
Tickets: Omnia Nightclub, (702) 785-6200
