Reporting from Las Vegas — Diana Ross’ nine-date engagement at the Venetian in April was so popular that the diva is ready to return for another nine nights in November.
“The Essential Diana Ross: Some Memories Never Fade” will be staged Nov. 4-21, bringing Ross’ big hits, including “Come See About Me,” “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and “I’m Coming Out.”
The pop culture icon’s five-decade career includes 18 No. 1 hits. In the United States alone, she chalked up 31 top 10 singles and 14 top 10 albums, selling more than 100 million records.
Ross’ milestones include a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, a Kennedy Center Honor, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences Hero Award, a NAACP Entertainer Award and Billboard’s Female Entertainer of the Century Award.
Her No. 1 hits include “I’m Coming Out,” “Upside Down,” “Stop! In The Name of Love,” “Chain Reaction” and “Where Did Our Love Go.”
A portion of the ticket purchase price will be donated to the Diana Ross Foundation. Dates include Nov. 4, 6, 7, 11, 13, 14, 18, 20 and 21.
Tickets start at $59.50 and go on sale on Friday, July 10.
