Triple-digit heat means discounts for Cirque du Soleil and comic Terry Fator
Reporting from Las Vegas — When the temperatures hit triple digits in Las Vegas, the deals start to roll in for shows.
The hot months of June, July and August are typically some of the slowest times during the tourism season -- and that means discounts for visitors.
Cirque du Soleil drops its ticket prices for its eight resident shows to as low as $59.
“Zumanity” at New York-New York, “Criss Angel Believe” at the Luxor and “Mystère” at Treasure Island all have tickets for $59. “Kà” at the MGM Grand and “Zarkana” at Aria dropped ticket prices to $69.
You can now land “The Beatles Love” tickets at the Mirage for $79. “Michael Jackson One” at Mandalay Bay and “O” at the Bellagio are offering 15% off for late-show tickets.

Comedian, singer and ventriloquist Terry Fator celebrates his 50th birthday this week by offering $50 tickets to his show at the Mirage through Aug. 31.

Blue Man Group puts on a special show to support an autism organization on Sunday. The $36 show is dubbed a “sensory-friendly show, suitable for children with autism spectrum disorders.” Proceeds from the 2 p.m. show go to Grant a Gift Autism Foundation.
The show at the Monte Carlo includes slight modifications such as reduced sound and light levels. Guests also may request earplugs. The Blue Man Group won’t interact with the audience as much as their usual shows, and families can find a place to break from the show in the lobby.
