Stand up for Fall Out Boy and Wiz Khalifa in Las Vegas

It’s a powerhouse pairing that will bring out the younger crowds who like punk and rap. Fall Out Boy and Wiz Khalifa will bring their multi-city Boys of Zummer co-headlining tour to Las Vegas in the dead of summer.
The stop in Las Vegas falls at the end of the groups’ two-month monster summer tour, hitting the 12,000-seat Mandalay Bay Events Center on Friday, Aug. 7.

Fall Out Boy, the punk band out of Chicago, heads out to support American Beauty/American Psycho, their latest album that dropped on Jan. 20. The band’s sixth studio album already has the hit “Centuries,” which became the theme song for the first College Football Playoff Championship game between Ohio State and Oregon.

Their song “Uma Thurman” from the new album includes riffs straight out of the theme song for “The Munsters.” Other hits include “The Phoenix” and “This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race.”

Khalifa hits the road to support his 2014 album Blacc Hollywood and his “We Dem Boyz” single off the record that earned him a Grammy nomination this year.

His biggest hits include “Black and Yellow,” “Roll Up” and “No Sleep.”
