Avery International reported flat second-quarter earnings and a 5% decline in revenues from a year ago. The Pasadena-based office products manufacturer said quarterly results were negatively affected by the economic slowdown in the United States and the strength of the U.S. dollar in comparison to a year ago. Avery also reported that net income in the first half of its fiscal year rose 6% from a year ago.
